The next station north is Santee Town Center, which is the Green Line's terminus, and the next station south is Arnele Avenue. Prior to July 2005, all Orange Line trolleys used to continue through this station to Santee Town Center. With the opening of the new Green Line, this service was replaced, and Orange Line trolleys used to terminate at this station. This was due to the path between Gillespie Field and Santee Town Center being single tracked, and having two lines running on that route would cause operational issues.
